7 Wedding Questions with… Hannah, The Designer

We’re back yet again with another installment of ‘7 Wedding Questions with’ & we thought it was about time we introduced you to the team behind Paper Themes – & what better place to start than with the designers, who bring you all the beautiful designs we have on the website!

Without further-a-do, let me introduce you to Hannah!

1. Firstly who are you? … Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Hello! My name is Hannah, i am one of the designers behind Paper Themes. I have been with the team for 6 years & I like baking, cooking, films & travel.

I live with my partner Dan, in Leeds, who I met in Australia in my year off. Sadly he is a southerner, not an australian haha.

2. What do you love most about your job?

I love researching designs & then adding my own twist to it, expanding an initial idea. Then the buzz I get when the orders start coming in for my new designs!

3. How did you end up in the wedding industry?

I started at Paper Themes after finishing university – the wedding stationery side of my job has gradually become the main part of my role.

4. Do you have a favourite design from the Paper Themes range?

I really like the new record design, I am biased as I designed it, but I think it’s really new & quirky!

5. What is the wedding-related question you are most frequently asked?

I often get asked what wedding invitations I would do for my own wedding. There’s too much pressure now, I joke that I’d send a text round saying BBQ at mine 3pm & it’d be my wedding, but in fact I honestly don’t know, I love the wallet designs as you get more value for money, & I love the vintage effect.

6. Can you reveal the most extraordinary request you have had from a customer?

Most extraordinary request? A couple I recently met at a wedding fair were getting married at a zoo & wanted a wedding invite that would suit it!

7. What is the most important piece of advice you could give to our readers when it comes to choosing their wedding stationery & accessories?

The most important advice I’d give is chill out, some people go crazy matching their bridesmaid dress colour to their invites, but calm down! Nobody is going to bring their invite to the wedding & complain that it doesn’t match your colour scheme. Also, always remember that you don’t need one invite per guest – there are usually families & couples, so one per household!!!!

Hannah loves a challenge, so if there is something you can’t find on the website & you are wondering if it’s possible, why not contact the customer service team, who’d be happy to speak to Hannah & the designers for you!
